Join us for a celebration of fall color! Learn to paint brilliant, colorful autumn scenes of the Methow Valley in Mazama Washington. Each day will include an instructor demonstration of painting mountains and trees with bright watercolors of fall, followed by individual instruction as you create your own painting based on the demo or an idea that you bring to the class. All levels of experience are welcome!
Class rate: $40/ day, or $75 for both days
Retreat rate: $125/person for shared room with 1 night lodging, Sunday brunch, and both Saturday and Sunday’s watercolor classes.
Instructor John Adams is a professional artist, designer, teacher and signature member of the National Watercolor Society. Most recently, his painting “Mt. Baker Sunrise” has been selected to be included in ART PORT TOWNSEND/ EXPRESSIONS NORTHWEST, the Northwind Arts Alliance and Port Townsend Arts Commission’s 14th Annual Juried Art Exhibition.
A signature member of both the National and Northwest Watercolor Societies, John is a part-time Methow Valley resident who paints the Methow Valley and North Cascade landscape in all seasons.
