Nestled in Mazama at the upper end of the Methow Valley with spectacular vistas of Mt. Gardner and Goat Wall, the North Cascades Basecamp is a comfortable bed and breakfast-style lodge and cabin, and a great jumping off point for summer or winter recreation and naturalist endeavors. The North Cascades Basecamp is ideal for family vacations, reunions, weddings, wellness retreats, conferences, workshops and group events.
Our trails meander through 20 acres of protected cedar forest and beaver pond wetlands to the edge of the Methow River. In summer, guests enjoy activities such as hiking, biking, bird watching, naturalist tours, fly fishing, rock climbing and river rafting, just to name a few. In winter, guests can step out their door onto over 200 km of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails, or make their own trails through the endless winter landscape of the North Cascades and the Methow Valley.
